Creating Nepali Numbered List

When we want to create list in Nepali language, we can not do it easily. It is because the keyboard layout of the font does not match with standard number format. Did not understand ? It simply means, for example if you use "Preeti" font then when you press "1" it does not give you directly "१". You have to press Shift + 1 to get it.

To do this you need font that give "१" on pressing 1 , "२" on Pressing 2 and so on. One of these fonts is Ank-Cast. You can download it from here. 

Now install this font. 

Now open Microsoft Office, click on Define New Number Format and follow steps given by pictures below: 

As you can see १। comes. । Can be replaced by adding "=" key. [as "=" gives "." in Ank-Cast]

...That's it. Now your list are in Nepali Number format.

SUCCESS of ICT-V in Jaleshwar Municipality

As an IT engineer when I first visited the municipality I was just demoralized about how can I work in this office with no IT setup, but when I started my work , the problems lying here were nothing except proper planning and guidance. I believe this place has got all the resources in all factor but are in under operation due to technical knowledge or support.

When I visited the departments here, it was very much difficult to work as per their expectation because they believe we can do anything related to office but scenario is changing day by day and they are much more clear about my responsibilities.

Now let me introduce what I have done here and how they have been achieved.

1.Moniterd what system software have been installed here and who are responsible to them and assured them to find my help anytime for technical backstopping which made them more confident for the use of software based system.

2. Took control over IT based system like Internet Connection, Wi-fi and router operation, CCTV monitoring. Also started the initiative to implement the Biometric fingerprint attendance system and successfully configured within a week.

3. Official website was just a shame in the name of website at the beginning as it was named Jaleshwar municipality website but all the information/data inside were of Tulsipur municipality and this proves that private company has cheated them. So accepting my role I took my action immediately, and checked the related files and called the responsible person and resolved initial problems. It is still updating and still is in very poor condition due to lack in support from private company. The official facebook page has gained much more success in less time and is best medium of information sharing as we a team of three people (EO, UGE, ICT-V) are equally contributing in regular updates.  

The most successful factor is they are much more aware about ICT and curious to understand and use Computer System. This is how I am working at the root level and making positive awareness and motivation,believing good days are coming with few support and good coordination of Ministry and local body.

FIrst Post !!! How to Blog?

Hurray !! Now I am going to write the first post of this blog.

Blogging is very easy. Just type www.blogger.com or www.blogspot.com, there you can see your blogs. A single email ID can create many different blogs. But here we share the common blog RCU Mujheliya. So, in our blogspot we see RCU Mujheliya as our blog. So visiting that link, we go RCU Mujheliya's page. There are lots of stuff....setting,dashboard,our blog posts. For new post, there is NEW POST option also. So following that link we are redirected to new typing page where we can write new new posts.

Look! Blogging is easy. Isn't it? There's lots of stuff we can do, we can select viewers, or we can even filter comments.

You will learn yourself trying each.
